Depressing News, But Also- Puppy Breath

So Fielder's recall is August 1st. Which is only NINE days away. I really don't want to think about it right now so here is what we did yesterday.

Della and Kelsey picked us up early in the morning and after a pee break for the FOUR poodles (all different colours!!!! apricot, black, and two different shades of chocolate) and one lab, we headed off to Port Perry for the Dog Days of Scugog. There we met Amy, Amy, Lynn, Lynn, Lisa and some other foster families. After that, we went to Lynn's house to hang out and the puppies got to play. And also swim, until Ola peed in the puppy pool and then I didn't let Fielder go near it, cause, well, icky!

It was the normal gossipfest, socializing, educating the public, running away from crazy people sort of thing so I won't bore you with details. Instead, get a load of this:

Don't even tell me that's not the cutest puppy you've ever seen in your whole entire life. So jealous of Kelsey and her new puppy, Emmett, a 8 wk old apricot poodle who sleeps 24/7

Then there's me and Fielderooney. He wasn't perfect but did pretty well despite the long hours and high temperature. Fawn and Fielder took many pictures together in anticipation of their recall.

We entered a lookalike contest. I took Ribbon and Amy took Emmett(they have almost the exact same hair colour!). I won a "participant ribbon" (read:loser) and Amy won 3rd place since she told the guy she was in the kids category when he tried to give her a participant ribbon after the adult round.
